The bandsaw's 1 hp motor rotates the blade at 3000 sfpm, cutting stock and boards up to 6 inches in height and 13.5 inches wide. The Jet JWBS-14CS bandsaw comes with a guide post that can be adjusted in 1/16-inch increments up to 6 inches to ensure accurate cuts. The roller-bearing blade guides stabilize the blade and prevent it from overheating and damaging stock. The Jet 14-inch bandsaw features a cast-iron frame that reduces vibration during cuts. A 15-inch square table, offset from the frame, provides an ample work surface and adds to cutting stability and safety.
