The Makita 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion cordless auto-feed screwdriver tool is engineered to provide high power as well as capacity range in a more compact size. An integrated auto-feed design assures minimal weight and enhanced power. It is integrated with the extension handle for decking and sub-floor applications. Tool features a powerful Makita-built 4-pole motor that delivers 4000 RPM, with a high capacity range of 1 to 2-1/8 Inch for collated screws. The silent clutch design uses higher durability materials, increasing operation efficiency and decreasing driver noise. Screwdriver has rugged aluminum dust-proof auto-feed housing for smooth sliding action. Screw guide of this tool, aids to avoid the screw strip from tangling and can fold against the auto-feed housing for storing and carrying. It is fitted with rubberized soft grip handle for increased comfort on the job. Screwdriver has reversible belt clip, which attaches to either side of the tool. Driver featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This Star Protection communication technology also monitors condition while in use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging and overheating. Tool is integrated with aluminum gear housing for increased job site durability.
