The Metabo W 2200-230 DM, 9" Angle Grinder with non-locking trigger is engineered to deliver fast cutting, grinding, and material removal for tough industrial and construction applications. Metabo's heavy duty 15 Amp, 2,200-watt AC/DC motor produces 6,600 rpm with optimized air flow for increased overload capacity under heavy loads in tough applications like weld preparation, grinding and brushing weld seams, metal removal, cutting rod, angle iron and pipe. The motor includes auto-stop carbon brushes to protect the motor and an epoxy coated field winding for long service life. The tool features a rotatable rear-handle for comfort when switching between cutting and grinding, three-position side handle, low profile die-cast aluminum gear housing for work in restricted spaces, non-locking trigger switch for added protection, and safety lock-off to help prevent unintentional startup.
