This 18V SDS-max® 1-5/8 In. rotary hammer delivers corded-type performance for heavy-duty concrete drilling and chiseling jobs. The Bosch GBH18V-40C Rotary Hammer delivers 6.7 Ft.-Lbs. of impact energy (EPTA). That is unprecedented for a single-battery 18V SDS-max® 1-5/8 In. rotary hammer. It weighs 18.4 Lbs. (including battery). This hammer is part of the PROFACTOR™ System, which pairs BITURBO Brushless™ Technology with a CORE18V® High Power Battery. BITURBO Brushless™ Technology is a high-performance motor and drive-train system designed to deliver power comparable to high-demand corded tools. It has rotary hammer and hammer-only modes, and Vario-Lock to rotate and lock the chisel. The anti-vibration system features a longer air cushion in the hammer tube and dampeners in the handle. It also has Soft Start and controlled rpm and bpm, making it easier to control drilling and chiseling applications. The hammer features an on-tool user interface for tool performance, feedback, and control. It has connectivity (module sold separately) to link the tool with the Bosch Toolbox App to provide immediate feedback of user settings. The kit includes two CORE18V® 12 Ah High Power Batteries, which each deliver equal power and at least 50% more runtime than the CORE18V® 8 Ah battery, powering high-demand applications. The kit has a GAL18V-160C battery turbo charger, which provides 16-amp charging current for fast and faster charging, with an optional Power Boost™ mode.
