The AC grinder is part of Baldor's line of industrial bench grinders that can handle the toughest metal-sharpening and deburring tasks. The single-phase Baldor 7-inch bench grinder has a single-speed, 3.4-Amp motor that puts out 0.5 hp at 115V to provide 3,600 rpm, so it maintains its grinding power even through the most solid metals. The totally enclosed motor prevents penetration of fine metal dust. The Baldor bench grinder has dual spindles that hold 36-grit and 60-grit grinding wheels that are 1-inch-wide by 7 inches in diameter. The wheels have cast-iron, non-exhausting guards. Spark arrestors on the Baldor grinder give you proper operating protection, and rubber feet stabilize the grinder on work surfaces.
